A public tool that tells a team how to split its Cypress suite across CI containers, and what each option costs in time and money. It grew out of the pipeline work I did at IriusRisk.

The brief
At IriusRisk I modelled how to split an end-to-end suite across CI containers. I wanted any team to get the same answer without writing a model.
The CI containers case study tells the whole story of that model.
What I built
A browser tool that reads Cypress run reports and recommends how to split the spec files across containers, with the time and cost of each option. The reports never leave the browser.
How I tested it
For most inputs nobody knows the right split in advance, so the core is tested with property-based, metamorphic and invariant tests.
